Oak meadow Primary School 2023

Oak Meadow is extremely proud to showcase further, the incredible art work of some of our Key Stage Two children. Teachers initially presented the art piece entitled, 'Surprise' by Henry Rousseau, which stimulated discussion of colour tints, tones, shade and depth. Children practised their colour mixing and produced self-portraits - noting carefully their personal facial features of surprise, whilst others chose to interpret and represent their responses by imagining the foliage and flowers within the painting. The individual art pieces reflect the children's skills and enjoyment of art using the medium of paint.
